* Invitations can be beautified simply by the color and texture of the paper and the typeface, such as cream colored type on chocolate brown paper.
* Try a silver or bronze envelope instead of white. Maybe even have something printed across the envelope like “Something special is inside…” or “you’re invited…” or “dum dum de-dum…”.
* Lightly spray each invite with a really mild fragrance like lilac or vanilla for a nice effect. Avoid perfumes due to allergies.
* A whimsical touch is to include something inside the invitations to fall out when guests open them, such as rose petals, confetti, throwing rice, or tiny red foil hearts.
